At Pinefield Glass, a lot happens behind the scenes to keep projects moving smoothly. From managing domestic and new build installations to coordinating deliveries and production, every day involves a careful balance of planning, accuracy and teamwork.

Different teams, each with their own areas of expertise, work closely to make sure every project meets the high standards Pinefield Glass is known for. With a team of more than 90 people, everyone supports one another while keeping the business moving efficiently.

Keeping everything connected

Pinefield Glass is led by a team of directors who bring decades of experience and complimentary expertise to the business: Bryan Yule, Co-Founder and Managing Director; Martin Charlesworth, Co-Owner and Operations Director; Diane Charlesworth, Co-Owner and Finance Director; Martin McMullan, Co-Owner and Domestic Sales Director; and Jamie Edwards, Co-Owner and Installation & Technical Director.

At the top of it all Bryan has four decades of experience in the glass and window industry, and still enjoys the challenge of developing the business, managing key clients and supporting the team as it grows.

Supporting him in directing the day-to-day operations, Martin Charlesworth keeps everything connected, making sure departments work together and projects run efficiently. Alongside him, Diane oversees the financial side of the business. Having been part of Pinefield Glass since it was founded in 2011, she has progressed through the company into her role as finance director, now managing everything from payroll to supplier payments.

On the commercial side, Martin McMullan manages domestic fitters and schedules while maintaining strong relationships with customers. Meanwhile, Jamie oversees installation and technical operations, drawing on over 30 years’ experience to make sure projects meet Pinefield Glass standards on site.

From enquiries to solutions

Colin Charlesworth, Contracts Manager, oversees contract sales, new build developments and trade sales. Once orders are confirmed, Doug Malcom, Estimator, steps in to turn enquiries into fully detailed orders. As the main showroom point of contact, he is consistently on hand to support customers, ensuring everything is accurately specified and properly set up before production begins.

Behind the scenes, Transport Manager Charlie Charlesworth keeps the company’s fleet running smoothly, ensuring vehicles and installers are kept on the road and operating efficiently. He plays a key role in coordinating logistics so that resources are deployed where they are needed and operations continue without disruption.

Bridging the gap between planning and installation, Graham McKenzie brings over 25 years of experience to his role as Surveyor. Having been with Pinefield Glass since the beginning, he guides customers through their supply and fit options, ensuring everything is measured accurately and ready for the next stage.

Turning plans into reality

Inside the production side of the business, everything depends on timing and communication. Scott Gordon, Production Coordinator, plays a key role here, keeping the link between the office and factory running smoothly, managing stock and making sure materials are ready.

With over 26 years of experience, Richard McLennan is our Factory Manager,  having worked his way up from the shop floor. He understands every stage of the process and focuses on maintaining quality while improving how things are done.

Projects don’t just stay in one place, though. Ross Balmer, New Build Coordinator works between housebuilders and installation teams, making sure sites are prepared and schedules stay on track. It’s a role that relies heavily on communication, something he brings from his background across sales and production.

The people who keep things moving

Behind every successful project is a lot of organisation, and at Pinefield Glass, that comes from the finance and administration teams working closely together. Shannon McCue, finance assistant, works alongside Diane to support the finance function across credit control, purchasing and HR.

The administration team is led by Errin McPherson, Senior Administrator, supported by Shannon Adams, Administrator, and Liam McDonald, Administration Assistant, and together they provide the structure that keeps the office running efficiently. Errin and Shannon manage order entry, production coordination and day-to-day office processes, while Liam supports sales enquiries and pricing as he continues to develop his experience and growing involvement across the wider business.

On the domestic side, Kylie Ashman, Domestic Sales Assistant, works closely with Martin McMullan to support the domestic fitters and ensure projects progress efficiently. Together, this team keeps the business organised, responsive and ready to deliver on every project.

The team behind every success

What stands out at Pinefield Glass isn’t just the experience across the team – although there’s plenty of it – but the culture that brings it all together. With a family influence at its core and a wider team of dedicated individuals, the business has built an environment where different skills and perspectives combine, and people take real pride in delivering a job well done.
